It works well when applied with fingers, but also with my favourite brush ( Scott Barnes Flawless Face Brush - use the code LYMIN to save 20% on Look Fantastic). I have found that applying in segments works better than just dotting all over the face, and then blending. The directions say to use your fingers to apply, and blend, the foundation, starting at the centre of your face. There are 36 shades available, and I chose Punjab, as that's what I always bought in Sheer Glow, and thankfully, it's the perfect shade (I know that some brands tweak the shades in different foundations sometimes). Sounds pretty incredible, right? But, does it live up to its claims?įirst off, I love that this has a pump, and the bottle in small and slimline.
Nars luminous light reflecting foundation skin#
The claims spoke to me! Medium coverage, breathable, natural finish, diffuses light to smooth the look of skin and blur imperfections, plus helps to strengthen the skin's barrier and maintain moisture. I used to wear Sheer Glow a lot (although I never understood the name, as it's neither sheer nor glowy!), and I really liked their Natural Radiant Long Wear Foundation, so when I heard about their new Light Reflecting Foundation, I decided to give it a whirl. It's a few years since I bought a foundation from Nars.
